about
Inspired by Blade Runner and written from the view point of a replicant. Taken from a quote in the film during a fight scene. The futile strife of living under the shadows not just for survival but for freedom. An oppressed group of runaways but also bullies themselves, like all in groups, the replicants have their prejudices and quirks, human inadequacies, no matter how perfectly they were designed. With all their dreams vanquished in the knowledge that their lives were meant to be short lived, and the inevitable tragic Frankenstein scene to follow, the replicants die knowing nothing will change. An ending made more ironic and twisted when we find out Deckard is probably also a replicant. THAT'S THE SPIRIT!
Dedicated to my brother Rodolpho Bambill who loved Blade Runner. RIP
