Inspired by the film "Whiplash" whose premise used Buddy Rich's infamous speeches to validate the senseless abuse that a student endures from a horrible teacher (in the movie) with one key difference -Buddy's band were seasoned musicians fucking up due to heroin use and not at all behaving like a dedicated pupil at the best music conservatory... We relate to his rant and frustrations, having kicked members out as well, due to lack of professionalism, BUT we also sympathize for those who suffer the wrath of a perfectionists' disappointment -especially when that tyrant's wrath is in our own heads.
